We seek to introduce Damascus University and consolidate its permanent presence in the international community as a leading institution in the Middle East in the field of higher education, along with setting up global communication networks that contribute to raise the capacities of the university students, academic and administrative staff.

- Mission
Establish and develop sustainable academic partnerships with higher education institutions such as Universities, higher institutes and research centers on both regional and international levels for the university progress and to keep pace with the continuous developments in the field of higher education.

- Objectives:
1- Find the best opportunities to send Damascus University teaching assistants to earn Master's and doctoral degrees from a variety of international universities to raise the university capacities with outstanding expertise.
2- Prepare and implement agreements of cultural and educational exchange between Damascus University and major higher educational institutions worldwide to provide the university with the necessary expertise to develop its systems, teaching mechanisms and scientific research.
3- Promote student exchange programs to expand the students' knowledge and be exposed to other experiences abroad and open new horizons in their academic disciplines.
4- Participate in international projects to provide opportunities for the development of higher education in Syria.
5- Strengthen the university presence in the international community of higher education through participating in academic activities worldwide, such as seminars, conferences and scientific exhibitions.
6- Increase opportunities to get benefit from scholarships for students and faculty members at Damascus University.
