A visit of the Director of International Relations of Tehran University of Medical Sciences to Damascus University

Prof. Dr. Mayssa Sioufi, vice-president of Damascus University for Academic Affairs and director of |International office in the presence of the dean of Faculty of Dentistry, held a meeting on October 14th at her office with prof. Dr. Mohammad Hossein Nekoofar the director of International Relations of Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Iran.
The discussion revolved around the ways of activating and implementing the bilateral agreement signed previously between the two institutions, through preparing a work plan especially on issues related to exchanging the students, professors and researchers visits.
The two sides agreed to assign a person or a committee as a focal point to arrange for something practical and agreed to concentrate first on the medical sciences (medicine, pharmacy, dentistry and nursing), and try to find some sources to fund the activities agreed upon.
