كلية طب الٲسنان في جامعة دمشق هي احدى ٲهم المؤسسات الأكاديمية وأكبرها و التي تقدم المعالجات السنية والجراحية بشكل مجاني للمرضى وذلك بالتنسيق بين الأقسام العشرة لكلية طب الأسنان، حيث يتم التعاون فيما بينها من أجل تحسين الصحة الفموية وتحقيق أفضل خطة علاج أكاديمية شاملة للمرضى المستفيدين من خدمات الكلية.

   يقدم طلاب المرحلة السريرية في كلية طب الأسنان الخدمات السنية للمرضى تحت اشراف طلاب الدراسات العليا وأساتذة الكلية بمختلف أقسامها، فيقدم قسم جراحة الوجه والفم والفكين خدمات تختص بالجراحات الفموية والقلوع في عياداتها الخارجية وصولاً لإستقبال الحالات الجراحية الكبرى بما في ذلك من أورام وأذيات وتشوهات وجهية و رضوض الفكين وذلك بهدف إجراء العلميات في مشفى جراحة الوجه والفم والفكين و مشفى الأسد الجامعي، إضافة لعلميات الزرع في قسم زرع الأسنان.

في حين يختص قسم تقويم الأسنان والفكين بحالات سوء الإطباق السني والهيكلي بينما يختص قسم الأطفال بطبابة أسنان الأطفال وذي الاحتياجات الخاصة، كما يختص قسم طب الفم بتشخيص أمراض الفم من قرحات وآفات وعلاجاتها وذلك بالإضافة إلى وحدة الليزر والخدمات التي تقدمها.

يقوم قسم التشريح المرضي بدراسة الخزعات وتحليلها نسيجيا وابداء القرار النهائي في تشخيص الحالات لمرضى الحالات المشتبهة.

ويتميز اختصاص التعويضات بشقيه الثابت والمتحرك بحالات إعادة التأهيل للفم وذلك بوضع خطط علاج متكاملة بأحدث ما توصل إليه العلم، كما يقوم قسم النسج حول السنية بتدبير أمراض اللثة و النسج الداعمة و اجراء العلاجات الملائمة للانحسارات والأمراض المرافقة للنسج حول الأسنان والزرعات بينما يشكل قسم المداواة قلب طب الأسنان باختصاصه الحريص علي الحفاظ على السن الطبيعي بمختلف التقنيات الدقيقة المتقدمة وبالتداخل المحافظ الأصغري.

Faculty of dental medicine at Damascus university is one of the important institutions that provides dental and surgical treatments freely to the patients.

By the coordination between its ten specialists in order to improve the oral hygiene and awareness, so though this process we can achieve the highest oral health possible.

Undergraduate Dental students in their clinical training provide dental health care to patients under the supervision of Postgraduate students and by Professors instructions in all departments.

Oral and Maxillofacial surgery Department provides a wide range of core specialty ranging from wisdom tooth surgery to orthognatic surgery and the management of jaws cysts and tumers. The department also provides subspecialty surgical services such as orofacial nerve repair, cleft lip and palate surgery.  in addition of the dental implantology programme. While the department of periodontology offers many therapeutic services such as soft tissue augmentation and gingival recession treatment and esthetic surgical correction around impolants, on the other hand, the department of pediatric dentistry is where the comprehensive oral health care for children from infancy through adolescence and patients with special health care needs is provided, and under general anesthesia for uncooperative children. Whereas the fixed and removable prosthodontics department provides oral rehabilitation with full treatment plan by using detailed process.

The goal of the department of orthognatic is to treat orthognatic and dental misalignments in children, adolescents of the temporomandibular joint and craniofacial anomalies.

Oral medicine department specializes in diagnosing and treating oral pathology department that fosters dealing with biopsies in order to explain histologically uncommon cases like dysplasia. Therefore the operative dentistry specialize in saving teeth with minimal invasive treatment
