Digital Center for Skills Development Concludes Training Workshop on Statistical Analysis Using SPSS

 Digital Center for Skills Development at Damascus University concluded a training workshop on "Statistical Analysis Using SPSS" by distributing training certificates to the participants, including faculty members, graduate students, and graduates of medicine, dentistry, agriculture, economics, education, and information library science.

 

Dr. Ismat Allah Ramadan, the trainer from the Faculty of Education, explained that the workshop aims to enhance the research skills of individuals from various disciplines in performing statistical operations using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software.

 

Dr. Maya Hadeh, Director of the center, emphasized that the center organizes training workshops which focus on developing digital and specialized linguistic skills for individuals interested in various fields.

 

Dr. Hadeh pointed out that the Statistical Analysis workshop is part of the center's training plan for the year 2024, where five workshops have been provided, including Digital Teacher Skills: Using Artificial Intelligence, Statistical Analysis with SPSS, Scientific Research Methodologies, Scientific and Electronic Methods in Documenting, Organizing, and Managing Sources and References. Additionally, two upcoming training workshops have been announced on Electronic Media and Advanced Skills in Excel. The plan also includes conducting workshops on developing oral and communicative skills in the English language using Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
