Improving the Quality of the Educational Process: A Discussion Panel at the Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences.

The Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences at Damascus University organized a panel discussion on “Improving the Quality of the Educational Process” within the context of developing the university educational process, and measuring the levels of its performance, and achieving general institutional excellence with the participation of the faculty community.

The panel discussed several important topics at the level of improving the quality of the educational process which include: the discussion of the reality of the educational process in the faculty, the proposed policies and procedures to improve the quality of education in general, the impact of the educational and social conditions on the educational process, in addition to expenditures and possible self- funding sources of the faculty.

Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences confirmed that the panel discussion is part of a major work that will take place at the university level related to developing and improving the quality of higher education.

Director of Center for Strategic Studies and Research at Damascus University, Dr. Akram Al- Qash, referred to the leadership and excellence in quality and academic accreditation nationally, regionally and globally. He also explained that work is being done to raise the level of higher education in Syria.

A large number of professors, students, and employees attended the panel discussion. They discussed methods of development in the educational process.
