Delegation from Damascus University Visits St. Pazmany Peter University in Hungary to Enhance Mutual Cooperation

As part of the development and enhancement of the agreement and memorandum of understanding signed between Damascus University and the University of St. Pazmany Peter in Hungary, Vice President of Damascus University for Administrative and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Mohamad Turko, and the Captain of Teachers at Damascus University, Dr. Bashar Dahdal, visited the Hungarian university and held a working meeting. The Hungarian side was attended by Professor Peter Nandor Máthé, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, and Professor Mayor Balázs, Vice Dean of the Faculty, along with Dr. Sam Mahmoud, the responsible person in the Office of International Relations.

 

At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Turko conveyed greetings from the President of Damascus University, Prof. Mohammed Osama Al-Jabban, to the Hungarian side, emphasizing the importance of mutual cooperation between the two universities. The meeting focused on the necessity of intensifying the exchange of professors between the two universities, activating student exchange for graduate studies, conducting online lectures by professors from both universities, and proposing the development of the educational and scientific archaeological laboratory in the Department of Archaeology at the Faculty of Arts, Damascus University, with the participation of both universities.
