President of Damascus University meets with Chargé d'Affaires of the Pakistani Embassy in Damascus

 President of Damascus University, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Osama Al-Jabban, met with Chargé d'Affaires of the Pakistani Embassy in Damascus, Mr. Umer Hayat Khan. During the meeting, they discussed prospects for joint scientific, research and academic cooperation.

Dr. Al-Jabban referred to the important scientific and research projects at the university, expressing the university’s readiness to enhance joint cooperation with Pakistani universities in various scientific, research and academic fields. Among areas of possible cooperation are exchange of students and professors, participation in scientific conferences, especially those related to technology transfer, and the launch of joint specialized master’s degrees between Damascus University and Pakistani universities.

For his part, Mr. Khan expressed the desire to enhance cooperation between Damascus University and Pakistani universities, especially with regard to student exchange, the possibility of teaching Arabic to Pakistani students at Damascus University, and other joint projects.

The meeting was attended by the University's Public Relations Director, Manah Al-Samara.
