A Lecture by a Syrian Expatriate Doctor at the Faculty of Dentistry, Damascus University

The Faculty of Dentistry at Damascus University hosted an online scientific lecture by Syrian expatriate Professor Dr. Omar Kogan on “World Health Organization updates on potentially malignant oral lesions and histological dysplasia (clinical and histological review)”, which was attended by a number of the teaching staff and postgraduate students in the conference hall at the faculty.

Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Professor Khaldoun Darwich, stressed the importance of activating communication with Syrian scientific scholars in the diaspora who work in academic institutions and international universities to benefit from their expertise in supporting the research process for graduate students and conducting and publishing scientific research jointly, which is greatly reflected in the university’s classification and supports graduate students at the faculty.

It is noteworthy that Professor Omar Kogan holds a bachelor's degree in dentistry from Al-Baath University, postgraduate diploma and Master's degrees in pathological anatomy from Damascus University, and Ph.D. from the faculty of dentistry at the University of Manchester.
