Scientific research using statistical data analysis: a training course at the Faculty of Economics

 The Faculty of Economics at Damascus University hosted a training session titled "Statistical Analysis of Data in Scientific Research", organised by the university branch of the National Union of Syrian Students.

The course is aimed at increasing student awareness of statistical programmes. It covers a number of topics, such as how statistical data is introduced and used in scientific research, as well as the variations in statistical programmes that students use for their undergraduate and postgraduate studies. It also emphasises that this course serves as a foundation for more advanced courses in the same field.

Notably, the three-day training was part of the Empowerment 2024 course series, sponsored by the National Union of Syrian Students in honour of Syrian Arab Student Day, which is celebrated every year on March 24.
