The Faculty of Agricultural Engineering at Damascus University, in cooperation with the National Union of Syrian Students and ACSAD, opened "Bio fermenter", as part of the cooperation agreement signed between the University of Damascus and ACSAD.

 Damascus University, in collaboration with relevant faculties and ministries, organized a symposium on "Investing in the Water Sector: Opportunities and Goals." The aim of the symposium was to exchange ideas and opinions that can contribute to finding solutions and developing satisfactory proposals and recommendations for optimal investment in the water sector.

 The interactive symposium held at Damascus University Auditorium focused on investing in the electricity sector (capabilities and goals) in cooperation with colleges and competent ministries. It aims at benefiting from the opinions and ideas presented in reaching effective results and solutions to deal with the challenges facing investment in this sector.

 Damascus University is preparing to participate in the global training course "Global Course" with its seventh edition and the winner of the European Aesop Award for Excellence in Education. This course is aimed at students of the Faculty of Architecture and the Higher Institute of Regional Planning.

  Damascus University hosted a signing ceremony for the book "To You, My Homeland" by author Manal Muhammad Youssef in the Reda Saeed Conference Hall as part of the celebrations of the 74th anniversary of Syrian Arab Student Day. In attendance were the president of the National Union of Syrian Students, Dr. Darren Suleiman, and the president of Damascus University, Professor Dr. Muhammad Osama Al-Jabban.

 Higher Institute of Regional Planning at the University of Damascus received a delegation of international experts in regional planning from Pakistan, in cooperation with Aga Khan Network. This delegation aims at presenting their experience and planning study of the city of Salamiyeh to the students of the Institute and familiarizing themselves with the role of the Institute in the planning process for social and economic development, in addition to the procedures applied in the Institute.

 Esophageal burns caused by caustics in children are among the serious injuries that affect the esophagus, causing a narrowing of its lumen in some forms, which necessitates dilation of esophagus, which may end with a surgical procedure consisting of replacing it with a colon and placing it as an artificial esophagus, despite the fact that this procedure carries digestive and surgical problems and sometimes delayed growth. The factors leading to harm also vary from alkaline substances, acidic substances, and other substances such as small button cell.

 The Faculty of Economics at Damascus University hosted a training session titled "Statistical Analysis of Data in Scientific Research", organised by the university branch of the National Union of Syrian Students.

 Students Scientific Meetings at the Technical Institute of Dentistry, in cooperation with Nursing Syndicate, have been concluded today.

 In partnership with the Syrian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Faculty of Dentistry, Damascus University, has hosted a Scientific Day, featuring multiple presentations of clinical cases and the most recent findings in oral and maxillofacial surgery research.
