“Employing Communication Skills to Raise the Quality of Higher Education”: A Workshop at the Quality Assurance Center

Employing communication skills to raise the quality of higher education is the focus of the workshop organized by the Quality Assurance Center at Damascus University, in cooperation with the Sweida Branch, in the presence of quality directors and representatives at faculties.

During her participation in the workshop, a member of the Quality Assurance Unit at the Second Faculty of Arts and Humanities in    Sweida, Dr. Nisreen Ali Salama, focused on the elements of communication, its tools and methods, and the importance of communication skills in the quality of higher education.

Dr. Ruba Ghazoul, Head of the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Al-Baath University, participated in the workshop, with a lecture on communication skills, university educational curricula, and methods for employing effective communication skills to raise the quality of higher education, based on the National Academic Reference Standards (NARS) that were approved by the Ministry of Higher Education.
