Damascus University Completes Preparations for Second Semester Exams of the Academic Year 2023-2024

 Damascus University has completed all preparations to begin the second semester exams for the academic year 2023-2024, starting on the 3rd of July until the 13th of August. The number of students who applied for the exams reached 183,654 students in Damascus faculties and its branches in Daraa, Sweida, and Quneitra.

 

Dr. Mohammad Turko, Vice President of Damascus University for Administrative and Student Affairs, stated that the university administration started preparing for the exams two months ago. Faculties’ administrations were directed to prepare the examination halls and complete the issuance of exam timetables, which were published on the faculties’ websites well in advance. Deans and their deputies were instructed to adhere to the examination instructions that were circulated to them. Exam questions were required to be objective and clear, and the examination reports were to be sent immediately to the university administration.

 

Dr. Turko called on all students to fully comply with the examination instructions issued by the university and avoid any violations. He also commended the role of the National Union of Syrian Students in circulating the examination instructions to students through the administrative bodies' pages on social media.
