President of Damascus University, Prof. Muhammad Osama al-Jabban, met with a delegation of graduate students from the Bolgar Islamic Academy in the Russian Federation (specializing in Islamic Economics) that is visiting Damascus University within the framework of the scientific cooperation agreement signed between the two sides.

The first pre-marriage course was launched at the Faculty of Sharia at the University of Damascus, in cooperation with the Ifaf Charitable Society, which is concerned with pre marriage preparing and training and family reform. 150 young men and women, married or about to get married.
Prof. Al-Jabban expressed his pride in the students’ participation in the initiative due to its importance in their professional career, and urged them to benefit from it in their academic studies and practical life. He also noted that as it is a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences and open new horizons for them.
Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) associated with Covid-19 is a rare (before Covid) and serious medical condition. It is characterized by inflammation in various organs. In this context, a research team from the University Children’s Hospital in Damascus conducted a retrospective study, the first of its type in Syria, entitled: “Clinical presentation and management of multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children associated with covid-19: a retrospective observational descriptive study in a pediatric hospital in Syria”.
The Student Empowerment and Leadership Center at Damascus University seeks to develop the capabilities of university students and graduates and connect them to the labor market according to a systematic basis through training courses that qualify them to enter practical life and the labor market.
