Students of the Faculty of Media discussed their graduation projects for the year 2023/2024, on Sunday and Monday, August 25-26, 2024. The projects varied between models of newspapers and magazines, producing films and radio programs, podcasts, electronic media and advertising materials, scientific field research, and other research topics.

 Faculty of Health Sciences at Damascus University began discussing students’ graduation projects in the specializations of psychomotor therapy, audiology, and speech and language therapy.

 The Faculty of Agriculture and the Student Union at Damascus University have inaugurated the activities of the production camp for fourth-year students of all specializations.

The Faculty of Architecture at Damascus University, represented by Dean of the faculty, Professor Dr. Reda Deeb, and Tourathouna for Studies and Restoration in Algeria, represented by the Director General, Engineer Hadef Salem, signed a memorandum of understanding with the aim of deepening and developing scientific cooperation and academic exchange relations between them, and working to support and develop joint cooperation between them in the field of heritage and its protection.

 Discussion of graduation projects at the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering ended with the first graduation project in Syria studying the design of a satellite with a ground station, through a theoretical study presented by two students, Abdul Rahman AShaar and Asmaa Jnaid, from the Department of Mechanical Design Engineering at the faculty.

  Students of the Second Faculty of Agriculture at the Suwayda Branch of Damascus University discussed their graduation projects for the year 2023/2024, in the presence of the Branch Director, Dr. Walid Naffaa, Deputy Dean of the Faculty for Administrative and Scientific Affairs, Dr. Ola Al-Naddaf, and a group of members of the educational staff, and those interested in the agricultural sector.

 The Digital Center for Skills Development at Damascus University has launched a workshop titled "Advanced Excel Skills" aimed at enhancing the skills of trainees from various university specializations in dealing with advanced Excel functions.

  President of Damascus University, Prof. Muhammad Ossama  Al-Jabban, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Abkhazia in Damascus, Muhammad Jalalovich Ali, and the Consul Advisor Ghaith Al-Haraki, to discuss ways to enhance and develop scientific and academic cooperation. The meeting focused on the possibility of signing a cooperation agreement between Damascus University and Abkhazia State University.

  Student Empowerment and Leadership Center at Damascus University organized two training workshops on workplace etiquette and strategies for successful job interviews in which students from various specializations participated.

  A number of students from the Department of Environmental Sciences at the Faculty of Science at Damascus University discussed their graduation projects for the year 2023-2024 in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Hammoud Al-Orabi, and his Deputy for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Ahlam Marouf, and the examining committee consisting of: Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Safarjalani, Dr. Ahmed Daoud, and Dr. Ahmed Bakr.
