Final recommendations of the Second International Conference on Renewable Energies at the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering

 The Second International Conference on Renewable Energies, organized by the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Damascus University, concluded its work, which witnessed large participation from local and foreign universities, centers, scientific and research bodies, and representatives of the relevant ministries and unions.

At the conclusion of the conference, the researchers recommended strengthening cooperation between specialized research centers and universities in the field of renewable energies and raising the efficiency of energy use.

They also drew attention to the need to include an economic feasibility study in every applied research, create an electronic platform that contains the problems of the public and private sectors so that master’s and doctoral research will address these topics and develop an annual work plan to prepare studies in the field of postgraduate studies between the university and the National Energy Research Center.
