A research team from the Faculty of Science at Damascus University conducted a scientific study on the impact of gaseous environments on oxidation during the thermal treatment of graphite at 400°C.
In a step reflecting its commitment to supporting and empowering women, the Academic Women’s Empowerment Unit at Damascus University organized a lecture titled “From University Seats to Leadership Seats… How Can Female Students Make an Impact in the New Syria?”
Today, the Faculty of Science at Damascus University launched a special scientific event marking Arab Chemistry Week, in cooperation with the Syrian Chemical Society, alongside the opening of a scientific exhibition titled “Chemistry: The Backbone of Industry.” These activities aim to highlight the role of chemistry in supporting industrial development and emphasize the importance of integration between science, industry, and productive sectors.
As part of the fruitful cooperation between SAMS Medical Education and the Guidance and Psychological Support Unit at Damascus University, the activities of “Scientific Autism Week” were launched within the programs of the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS). Around eighty trainees participated, including graduates of faculties of education, psychology, and special education, as well as workers in associations specialized in autism.
