A dialogue symposium at the Faculty of Medicine to discuss mechanisms for improving the quality of education

The Faculty of Medicine at Damascus University held an open dialogue symposium entitled “Improving the Quality of Education” in the presence of deans of medical faculties and their deputies, directors of educational hospitals, heads of departments in the Faculty of Medicine, professors, and graduate students.

The discussions focused on the reality of the educational process in the faculty of Medicine, proposed policies and procedures to improve the quality of education, the impact of economic and social conditions on the educational process, and possible self-funding sources. The discussion included an evaluation of the preparatory year and its role in preparing the student, as well as the role of educational hospitals in providing practical training for the students.
