The 8th Annual Graduation Projects Exhibition, organized by the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Damascus University under the slogan “Syrian Youth Shaping the Future”, concluded today with wide participation from both public and private Syrian universities. The event was attended by professors, students, and representatives from academic and industrial institutions.

Damascus University took part in the Third ALECSO Forum for Arab University Twinning, hosted by Sohar University in the Sultanate of Oman under the theme “The Productive University.” Representing Damascus University was Dr. Taleb Al-Ali, University Secretary, who met with Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO). During the meeting, Dr. Al-Ali highlighted the pioneering role of Damascus University in development and its distinguished civilizational legacy, as one of the oldest universities in the region with a history spanning more than a century.

The President of Damascus University, Professor Dr. Mustafa Sa'em Al-Dahr, met with the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Damascus, Mr. Sufyan Salman Al-Qudah, to explore avenues to strengthen and activate academic, scientific, and cultural cooperation between Damascus University and Jordanian universities.

Today, the stage of the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Damascus University welcomed the launch of the college’s 8th Annual Engineering Exhibition, held under the slogan “Syrian Youth Shaping the Future.” The event features broad participation from both public and private Syrian universities.
