Evaluating chromium contamination and its relationship to soil components in Eastern Ghouta, Damascus, was the aim of a scientific study conducted by a research team from the Faculty of Agriculture at Damascus University entitled: “Chronical Soil Pollution with Chromium in the Tanneries Area: a Case Study in Damascus, Syria.”
Indian Ambassador, Mr. Irshad Ahmad, visited the Faculty of Information Engineering at Damascus University and the Technology Growth Incubator, during which he was briefed on the faculty’s departments and laboratories, in the presence of Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Ammar Jokhdar, Deputy Dean, and the Director of the Incubator.

A seminar organized by the Faculty of Economics at Damascus University focused on government support, its outcomes, and opportunities for continuity, in the presence of a number of professors, graduate students, and those interested.
