Under the patronage of the Presidency of the Republic, the National Disability Conference – Empowerment, Inclusion, and Integration opened at Damascus University’s Visual Arts Center, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with Damascus University. The opening was attended by senior officials, ministers, the university president, and representatives of government institutions, civil society, and international organizations.

Damascus University, led by Prof. Mustafa Saem al‑Dahr, and the Ministry of Tourism, represented by Minister Mazen al‑Salehani, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to advance tourism and hospitality education and training.

Damascus University, represented by Prof. Mustafa Saem al‑Dahr, and the Syrian Company for Transport and Tourism, led by Eng. Fayez Mansour signed a Memorandum of Understanding to launch specialized training programs in tourism transport management.

The preparatory meeting “Reimagining Syrian Expertise” (RISE) opened today at the Rida Said Conference Center, organized by Prof. Eylaf Bader Eddin from Davidson University (USA), with support from the Institut du Proche‑Orient (Beirut), IFPO, and the University of Chicago Forum for Free Inquiry and Expression, in cooperation with Damascus University. Attendees included Damascus University President Prof. Mustafa Saem al‑Dahr and the Chargé d'Affaires of the French Embassy in Damascus.
