Conclusion of the first cycle of the project "Female Academic Role Model Empowerment, Equality and sustainability at Universities in the southern Mediterranean Region FREE"
Within the participation of Damascus University in FREE project, a course on calculating and designing solar system energy (PV systems) was delivered by experts from Yotta Energy Company.
Targeted trainees were female postgraduate students (Master- Doctorate) who work in the field of renewable energy systems development.
It is noteworthy that FREE seeks to set up a pilot center at the Syrian Universities with the aim of empowerment of academic woman.
The duration of course was five days, with an average of 25 training hours.
Participation certificates for the trainees and certificates of thanks for experts from Yotta Energy were given at the end of the course by the president of Damascus University Prof. Dr. M. yassar Abdin.
