A meeting between the president of Damascus University and Ambassador of Pakistan Islamic Republic in Syria
On the 23rd  of May 2023 Prof. Dr. Mhd. Osama Jabban the president of Damascus University had a meeting at his office with Mr. Shahid Akhtar, Ambassador of Pakistan Islamic Republic in Syria, in the presence of the vice presidents of Damascus University .

Discussion revolved around the possibility of developing joint cooperation in the field of exchange of academic knowledge and scientific and cultural activities and student and academic exchange with Pakistani universities, especially in the fields of science and technology.

It was agreed to establish an event about the Pakistani culture, history and civilization at Damascus University, under the patronage of the Pakistani embassy in Damascus.
