A meeting between the president of Damascus University and The president of University of Bernardo O Higgins. in Chile

On 6th of March, Prof. Dr. Mhd. Osama Jabban, president of Damascus University, in the presence of the vice presidents, received a delegation from the University of Bernardo O Higgins in Chile, included the rector, the vice rector and the communication director by the presence of Mr. Jose Patricio, the Chilean ambassador in Syria, had a meeting at his office with prof. Claudio Roof Escobar the president of University of Bernardo O Higgins in Chile.

Within the meeting the sides discussed the ways of developing the scientific and academic relations between Damascus University and University of Bernardo O Higgins, especially in the field of exchanging of academic staff, researchers, and students, and exchange of scientific experiences in the field of studies, seismic monitoring, disaster and emergency management, that contribute to raising the level of scientific research in this field, and agreed upon to sign a joint cooperation agreement later.
